From Wrightsville, GA. I am a former SCAD fashion major, Calvin shifted my focus to abstract painting using acrylic on canvas, exploring the “layer upon layer” technique. Currently living and working in Savannah, GA and is an active member of Savannah’s thriving art community.

More than 10 years as an artist Calvin typically don’t use a brush to paint. He simply pours paint on a canvas and see what happens, then he starts to build layers upon layers depending on what the painting tells him. “With the first few drips, I immediately know if I’m going to have a composition with a minimal aesthetic or a very heavily layered and more complex piece.”
